My name is Hannah, and I am an ACE certified Health Coach with a bachelor's in Nutrition and Food Science and a Master's degree in Public Health. I was born in Texas, grew up mostly in Tennessee and I now live in Alabama with my husband. I am passionate about health, fitness, nutrition and everything in between. I love working out, cooking, eating, and going on adventures whenever I can! We have 2 dogs and are expecting our first baby in July of 2024..
I got into Health Coaching after I graduated with my undergrad in Nutrition and Food Science. To me, it was the best next step to what I want to do- which is help people! My passion and focus really are on fad diets and toxic diet culture. I want to help you and everyone else who struggles with this to live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle!
If you've been looking for a health coach for a while, you will know that we aren't all the same. We have different areas of focus, different coaching styles, and different passions.
My coaching style is very client led, and person-centered, as any good coach should do. I want to know about YOU and what is best for YOU, not force my own ideas or plans on you. I fully believe you know you and your body better than anyone, and I am all about going to the experts.
My interest areas are combating fad diets, toxicd diet culture, eating disorders, sustainable fitness, nutrition and overall health and preventative behavioral change.
At the end of the day I am here to help you with whatever you need and want to do. Once I know you, my interest area is YOU, your goals and your successes and failures.
Yes, you read that right. A health coach is openly admitting to loving Mac n' cheese. Its a no judgmental zone guys, I love what I love!
From ages 8-ish to 14 I lived on my families 25+ acre farm where we raised everything from cucumbers and squash to sheep, pigs, chickens and turkeys.
I have done 2 marathons and more half marathons than I can count since I started running around the age of 13. Now days I don't run THAT far anymore. I am more focused on strength training, so I run anywhere from 1-3 miles daily now.
I have a 2 year frenchie named Stitch and an (almost) 1 year old frenchie named Dolly. They are both adorable little girls with a spunky side!
I just hate the taste. They are such a healthy food but I can't eat them unless their flavor and texture is totally masked by something like in baked goods or Asian dishes.
As I write this I have about 12 on my bed and at least 6 more scattered between various places. I just love how soft and cozy they are. The obsession doesn't care than I already have too many.... I am tempted to buy just about every blanket I see.
